As an authorized Community Service Provider (CSP), Rosewood offers
services for people with disabilities in the central Kansas area. As
such, it meets the terms of the 1995 Developmental Disabilities Reform
Act and specific standards and requirements of the State of Kansas for
organizations contracting with Community Developmental Disability
Organizations (CDDOs). As a CSP, Rosewood meets and exceeds all
requirements of the State.
Each person served receives optimum and personalized assistance in an
environment structured to meet individual needs, assure Constitutional
rights, and provide the very best in services, programs and community
inclusion. Rosewood advocates for its individuals on the local, state
and national level. It continually works for community inclusion at the
local level and has representation in state and national advocacy
groups. Case managers at Rosewood assist adults and children with
locating support services and resources to help them achieve the
maximum degree of independence.
At the outset, a Person Centered Support Plan (PCSP) is developed for
each individual, taking into account his or her personal wishes, and
the recommendations of those involved in the client's development. The
PCSP allows the individual to choose a customized program from the wide
variety of services and programs available at Rosewood. The services
chosen will be those that are most suitable to helping the client
achieve his or her personal development goals. Case managers embrace
the values of each client and become one of that person's primary
advocates.
