Rosewood Services - Services for the disabled
our history

"Rosewood cares deeply about the individuals we serve, the programs we offer, and the communities that embrace those we serve."

Tammy Hammond, Founder

Rosewood Services was founded in 1998 with the goal of creating an agency that fostered independence, inclusion and productivity through education, work, recreation and housing. Over the years, dedication and determination have helped build an agency of superb quality with cutting-edge programming that makes Rosewood Services one of the best service providers in Kansas for people with developmental disabilities.

We are here because we have built upon those goals through programs that provide the greatest opportunities for personal choices and independence, while simultaneously providing the support services necessary for our clients to achieve success.

Rosewood Services is nestled on a sprawling rural site north of Great Bend, a community of 15,000 in central Kansas. Its spacious grounds and multiple facilities, both at this location and at other sites throughout the community, serve as the foundation for case management and day services, medical and fitness services, employment mentoring, residential services and various recreational activities.

Rosewood is a growing place... growing to meet the needs of the people we serve. Our growth is evidence of the need that existed for alternative services in central Kansas, as well as to the overwhelming response we have received from consumers and their families to the program quality we deliver to those we serve.

Our services are individually geared so that each child, youth, adult and senior citizen has the specific program they need to experience the best possible life. You will find Rosewood Services at the forefront in creating awareness for the issues affecting people with disabilities. We are strong advocates for their rights as individuals.

We will always be that voice demanding the respect and dignity each deserves.
